TAKE THE FERRY FROM FINLAND
From Vaasa in Finland you travel with Wasaline to Umeå and the trip only takes four hours over Kvarken. From Umeå you travel by car, taxi, bus or train.
TAKE THE TRAIN TO LAPPLAND
It is easy and convenient to train to Lycksele. With the newly built Botniabanan between Stockholm and Umeå with Norrtåg there are connections to Lycksele.
TAKE THE BUS
Many bus lines are in to Lycksele and most of the lines can be found via the Länstrafiken website. You can also take a bus all the way from Stockholm to Umeå with the Y-Bus and then continue to Lycksele with the Länstrafiken lines.
RENT A CAR
When you arrive at Lycksele it can be convenient to take a rental car. A way to get out into the surroundings and explore our open landscapes and sights.
SHUTTLE CAR
Some routes are not served by bus within the destination, but many times it is possible to book a ring truck. This is a service provided by Länstrafiken and the ring cars (shuttles) run just like the buses according to specific tours and timetables but unlike buses need to be booked at least one day before departure.

E12 - from Umeå
Drive E12 across the bridge, turn right in the roundabout after the bridge and keep Hedlundavägen about 2 km.
E12 - from Storuman
Take the E12 and turn left to Gammplatsen about 2 km before the big bridge over the river.
Road 365 - from Skellefteå
Take Route (road) 365 over the bridge, turn right at the roundabout after the bridge and keep the E12 / Blue road about 2 km.
