How to travel here<\/h2>\n

FLY TO US<\/h3>\n

Lycksele Airport: At Lycksele Airport you can land directly in Lapland. Flights are regularly scheduled seven days a week.<\/p>\n

Nearby airports
\nIt is also possible to reach Lycksele via the airport in Ume\u00e5 and Skellefte\u00e5. From the airport you travel by car, taxi, bus or train.<\/p>\n

TAKE THE FERRY FROM FINLAND<\/h3>\n

From Vaasa in Finland you travel with Wasaline to Ume\u00e5 and the trip only takes four hours over Kvarken. From Ume\u00e5 you travel by car, taxi, bus or train.<\/p>\n

TAKE THE TRAIN TO LAPPLAND<\/h3>\n

It is easy and convenient to train to Lycksele. With the newly built Botniabanan between Stockholm and Ume\u00e5 with Norrt\u00e5g there are connections to Lycksele.<\/p>\n

TAKE THE BUS<\/h3>\n

Many bus lines are in to Lycksele and most of the lines can be found via the L\u00e4nstrafiken website. You can also take a bus all the way from Stockholm to Ume\u00e5 with the Y-Bus and then continue to Lycksele with the L\u00e4nstrafiken lines.<\/p>\n

RENT A CAR<\/h3>\n

When you arrive at Lycksele it can be convenient to take a rental car. A way to get out into the surroundings and explore our open landscapes and sights.<\/p>\n

SHUTTLE CAR<\/h3>\n

Some routes are not served by bus within the destination, but many times it is possible to book a ring truck. This is a service provided by L\u00e4nstrafiken and the ring cars (shuttles) run just like the buses according to specific tours and timetables but unlike buses need to be booked at least one day before departure.<\/p>\n

Local directions<\/h2>\n

E12 - from Ume\u00e5<\/h3>\n

Drive E12 across the bridge, turn right in the roundabout after the bridge and keep Hedlundav\u00e4gen about 2 km.<\/p>\n

E12 - from Storuman<\/h3>\n

Take the E12 and turn left to Gammplatsen about 2 km before the big bridge over the river.<\/p>\n

Road 365 - from Skellefte\u00e5<\/h3>\n

Take Route (road) 365 over the bridge, turn right at the roundabout after the bridge and keep the E12 \/ Blue road about 2 km.<\/p>\n

It will be signposted from E12, Bl\u00e5 V\u00e4gen<\/p>\n
